Commissioned by the Future of Storytelling Summit, this short piece on Jose Antonio Vargas, profiles the Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist and founder and CEO of Define American. Vargas never knew he was an undocumented immigrant until he was denied a driver's license at 16. Today, Vargas has used his identity and the power of storytelling to shift the conversation on immigration, citizenship, and identity in America.
